Dyslexia is a language-processing disorder. The dyslexic brain is wired a bit differently which affects how a person learns. The right side of the brain is actually 10% bigger than average. However, the wiring can make things like memorization and directionality a challenge. This of course also affects the ability to read and spell. With a different kind of wiring, you need a different approach to learning.
